Hampton String Quartet's Bio: For more than two decades the Hampton String Quartet, Julliard-trained and Grammy-nominated, has made its career exclusively arranging, playing and recording classic rock. Drawing upon the works of Led Zepplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Cream, The Doo rs, Jefferson Airplane, Queen and others, HSQ injects influences of Bartok, Beethoven and other classical composers as well as original material.

Hampton String Quartet has performed from Carnegie Hall to Queen Elizabeth Hall to Hong Kong, and has appeared on "The Today Show," FX-TV and "Nightline," been featured on countless film scores and heard on radio stations across the US. Their rock video has aired on MTV and VH1 and they have opened for such notables as Billy Joel and Glen Frey of the Eagles. They have performed with *NSYNC and recorded with Britney Spears and Cyndi Lauper.

With four albums on RCA and four on Mona Lisa Sound, Hampton String Quartet topped Billboard's Classical Crossover Charts in three consecutive years.
