Jadakiss' Bio: At the young age of 12, Jadakiss began his rapping career when he joined a freestyle competition. He took the notice of a management company named Ruff Ryders and would convince two friends (Sheek Louch and Styles P.) to form a rap group that would come to be known as D-Block and was soon signed to Bad Boy Entertainment.

In 2001, Jadakiss worked with Snoop Dogg and Swizz Beatz to release his first LP "Kiss tha Game Goodbye". The critics did not respond kindly to the release but it was certified gold by the RIAA in spite of the bad reviews.

The success of his debut album seemed rather juvenile in comparison to his sophomore album. Jadakiss collaborated with Anthony Hamilton, Mariah Carey, Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, and Eminem to release "Kiss of Death" and the album skyrocketed to #1 on both the Billboard Hot 200 and the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Charts. The success however did not come without controversy. The hit single "Why" featured lyrics many believed implied a link between President George W. Bush and the 9/11 attacks.
