Gavin Rossdale's Bio: Gavin Rossdale is a man of many talents. With unmistakable, distinctive vocals and an incredible lyrical genius, Rossdale first stepped into the international spotlight with his band Bush. Co-founded with Nigel Pulsford, the band’s debut album, Sixteen Stone, was released in 1994. It included the massive singles “Everything Zen”, “Glycerine”, and “Comedown” and went on to sell over 6 million copies in the U.S. alone. The triple-platinum follow-up, Razorblade Suitcase, debuted at #1 on the strength of the hit “Swallowed”. After two more albums – 1999’s The Science of Things and 2001’s Golden State – Bush went on an indefinite hiatus from touring and recording.

In between writing and recording – including guest appearances for Blue Man Group and DT8, and the solo track “Adrenaline” on the XXX soundtrack – Gavin also ventured into film, with major roles in the 2005 features Constantine and The Game of Their Lives. He returned to the music scene in 2005 with a new band, Institute, and their debut album, Distort Yourself. The band toured extensively, including two stints opening for U2.

In 2008, Gavin Rossdale released his first-ever solo album, entitled Wanderlust, which was produced by Bob Rock and included the hits “Love Remains The Same” and “Forever May You Run”. The record marked a new chapter in Gavin’s musical career and featured some of his most personal and powerful songs to date. He has also appeared in the TV drama "Criminal Minds" and the hit USA Network show "Burn Notice."

The summer of 2010 saw the return of Bush, with an official announcement via Los Angeles radio station KROQ. The band performed at the station’s Epicenter Festival in September, followed by scattered dates in North America in October. A new album – the band’s first in nearly a decade – was released on September 13, 2011. It is called "The Sea of Memories."

Although they prefer to keep their relationship out of the media spotlight unlike many other celebrities, Gavin married singer Gwen Stefani in 2002, and the couple has two children. Both Gavin and Gwen are big tennis fans, and it isn't uncommon to see them supporting friends Roger Federer and Lindsay Davenport at matches including cheering for Federer at Wimbledon.
