Recognized worldwide as one of today’s most exciting theatrical stars, Michael Crawford continues to delight audiences worldwide with his versatile performances and dynamic stage presence.

Michael Crawford is perhaps best known for his creation of the role of the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera. His performances gathered unparalleled popular and critical acclaim throughout the world and broke box office records. For his role in Phantom, Mr. Crawford received the coveted Tony, Drama Desk, Olivier, Outer Critic’s Circle, Dramalogue, and Drama Critic’s Circle Awards.

His starring role in EFX opened the MGM Grand Theatre in Las Vegas, further solidifying his box office power, and the production was hailed as one of the greatest theatrical spectacles ever attempted.

Most recently, Mr. Crawford portrayed the role of Count Fosco in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Woman in White” at the Palace Theatre, London. He was awarded Variety Club’s “Outstanding Stage Performance of the Year” as well as the Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers’ Choice Award for “Best Supporting Actor in a Musical”.

Other stage credits in London and Broadway include ‘Billy’; ‘Flowers for Algernon’; ‘Black Comedy’; ‘Dance of the Vampires’; ‘Barnum’ (Olivier Award). In addition, he has successfully performed concert tours throughout the United States, Canada, England, and Australia.

His numerous performances in both film and television include ‘Hello, Dolly!’ starring Barbra Streisand, directed by Gene Kelly; ‘A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum’; ‘The Knack’;‘The Jokers’; ‘How I Won the War’ with John Lennon; ‘The Games’; ‘Hello and Goodbye’; ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’; ‘Condorman’; ‘Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em’; ‘Not so Much a Programme, More a Way of Life’; ‘Play for Today’; and ‘Chalk and Cheese’.
